Its been over five years since I posted on this blog.  Embarrassing?  Kind of,,, any good reason.....Maybe, maybe not.  Life is a juxtaposing of priorities and this blog finally rose to the top.

I recently spent a wonderful weekend at "The Scrapbook Playhouse" owned by the wonderful Wanda Watson located in northern Alabama.  You can see pictures of  it here, www.thescrapbookplayhouse.com.  Head over to her website to see more details. Its a four bedroom home used solely for scrapbooking retreats.  The living room houses 8 tables and comfy office chairs set up with storage for scrapbooking. There's 3 bathrooms a fully equipped kitchen a TV and game room and a lovely view of horses in the backfield.
You can rent the Playhouse for a weekend or a week and it comes with a fully equipped scraproom, WI-FI, a Cricut Expression with lots of cartridges, a Silhouette, a Computer  and all the paper and embellishments you could wish for. Wanda has graciously outfitted this room with lots of punches, stamps, inks, dies. You name it, its there, all for your personal use. All supplies are free.  She asks that you leave any unwanted supplies from your stash.  Take something, leave something.

I spent four days there in June and it was heaven.  Eight of us brought food to cook (fully equipped kitchen) and we also hit the local eatieries.  Here 's a picture of one of the pages I scrapped while I was there.

The movie night title is from www.misskatecuttables.com (check it out, thousands of SVGs).  The popcorn and cup are from Silhouette images library.  BayMax was hand drawn and cut.

The Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia is this weekend and I'm about to plan my pages and pack up for 4 more days of fun, friends and shopping.  I hear my washer and dryer pinging away.  Luckily its right next to my scraproom!  Thanks for stopping by friends. Talk to you soon!
